have you ever met some body on fab and thought you're not my cup of tea at all, having initially swapped pics with them on here and thought they were fine. how do you tell them? would you cut the meet short and tell them face to face or tell them after through a mail

It's happened to me, both ways. One I told straight out that I wasn't feeling the connection I'd thought was there, the other I told in a text after that I knew he wasn't interested and that was ok. You win some, you lose some

Yes, we met for coffee. He was polite and chatty, but clearly not interested in more than that. So I gently let him off the hook

Yes I’ve met people I was really excited about meeting face to face only to find I just didnt have any chemistry with them.

I would be polite and have a coffee and chat but let them know at the end I’m not interested in taking it further.

It’s best to be upfront about things like that. No point in stringing someone along.

Of course I did, he confirmed it in his reply and thanked me.

Never had to do it thankfully and it hasn't been done to me but then any of the poor feckers that I chat to are chatting so long (because it's hard to get free time to meet) we know each other quite well and know there is chemistry there

We always message someone after a coffee meet to let them know whether or not we are interested in taking it further. It's difficult enough for men here without stringing them along. Have the spine to be honest.

See, not a game-player after all
