It's a big worry Bumping into people from the real world during fab times...I know everyone are there for the same reason but still can be awkward!

Anybody been in that situation & how did you deal with it & how was it after?

over the hills and far away

Ireland is such a small place, it is inevitable that you could bump into someone you know along the way.

Hasn't happened to us yet but I know Stuart would be more nervous about it than I am.

Has it happened the other way around that at a fab party you met someone from the real world?

Happened to me on my single profile when I was here before. Turned up to a private party only for male half of one of the couples to recognise me. I was in the payroll department, I nearly died.

I seriously have no idea what’s the problem with it. You know they swing. They know they swing. 5 minutes of weirdness and a chance to actually have friends in real life to chat about the lifestyle with. People in front of whom you can be truly yourself.

I know about people from my real life that are swinging. They don’t know I know. Or at least I don’t know that they know about me. I recognized them through their pics and through them being less discreet that I am. I keep details to myself. Will never tell them I know unless we meet in a swinging situation. Will shake hands, have a chat, exchange verifications and that is it.

Happened to me last week, I went into a shop and the serving was someone I'd met. This was a small business and someone else was there. We just behaved professionally ... it is funny though when it happens

We are always bumping into people we know in the real world at clubs etc. We never worried about it.

Now someone on here started working in my company. Meet them in the canteen the whole time. We get a giggle out of it!

I bumped into a guy I met on here at the weekend while shopping, the “bs” people tell you. He said he was single when we met, (no wedding ring on you see). As I was on my own, i thought I’d say hello to him, as he was standing on his own looking bored, he said hi and we started to chat. His wife walked up to him and said “who’s this Jay?” we’ll use Jay as his name for now.

“Oh this is Maggie” he replied, “she works in Admin”. I laughed at his feeble reason as to why he’d be chatting to me, wished him luck and walked away.

Not the first or probably the last time I’d bump into someone off here.

A couple of months ago we were in a club when someone from his work walked in, we all just kept our distance and that was that. Just over a week ago I (Mrs) got talking to a couple on here, long story short once face pics were shared it became obvious they were the couple we’d seen in the club and one of them was from his work. We spoke about it and they didn’t block us, we didn’t block them so we decided to be adults about it and got together in a club last weekend and had great sex. Happy days
