Some misinformation and propaganda, some extremely unscientific opinions, at least a few mimisandrists with questionable mental health and motives at its core.

Lots of platitudes about feminism being for everyone and equality for all but the actions don't often match the words.

It stinks of first world problems while not showing enough regard for genuine abuse of women's rights in other parts of the world.

More generally, in my view in its current form it's creating disharmony and unwarranted mistrust between men and women when we all should just get along.

I'm happy for you, unfortunately millions of women around the world do need feminism and are fighting everyday to be accepted as equal.

They also need men to help them in their struggle instead of having some kind of weird suspicion about the whole thing. Look at the post immediately above your last one. Typical lazy, unhelpful comment.

Because the world isn't black and white. I can hold egalitarian ideals and still criticise it.

On the other point - I think modern feminism doesn't do enough where it is needed for millions of women and is generally absurd in promoting equality of outcome rather than equality of opportunity for already privileged women elsewhere.

First of all on fab women on fab hols most of the cards. So there's no need to look for equal rights here as it's unequal in your favour.

Secondly it seems that people use the most extreme version of a group when discussing the pros and cons eg feminist = militant feminist socialists = communists conservative = far right/nazi. Yes everyone should have equal rights but there are differences between the the sexes that can't be ignored.

Well I think everyone should be treated equally regardless of age, sex , colour, sexual orientation, religion, nationality. The problem is all these folks that want to be treated the same and use the man as what would be normal never want that. They want more than what a man has. I’m a straight white male who feels with all the rights being handed out and people saying oh you can’t say that because it would upset one group of people it is the average man who should have more rights to bring him in line with every other fecker that’s bangs on about equality. The other thing is people are so over sensitive with the opinions you darent say shit now with out some some spineless fecker taking offence to it. Agree, by and large I do believe women are equal to men in this Country, I think smaller issues that the media seem to be more concerned about covering, such as, should wolf whistling in the street be an offence, are merely distracting from more important issues.

Men and women will always have this argument! We are equal tho.. I have great respect for anyone who treats each other with respect. There are things that woman can do that men aren't good at.. And visaversa !!! But ..feminists are a bit over the top lately.
