Watching a documentary about the Voyager spacecraft, yes, space nerd I know.

They showed archive footage of 1981 when crowds were gathering at NASA space centre to see the first images of Saturn and it's mystical rings.

It struck me that I'd love to have been there to experience that excitement.

So, what event would you love to have been around to experience?

Mine is futuristic, I hope to see the journey to Trappist 1, would love to still be around if anyone or anything ever gets there. Not very likely though. Would be great to see planet hopping where it only takes maybe a day to go from one planet to the next.

Let me tell ya, from my experience, there was nothing mystical about saturns ring.
