For me...

SWIMMING WITH SHARKS with Kevin Spacey. If you liked him in House Of Cards, you'll love him in this movie.

C'est moi Boudoir

Les source des femmes about a remote village where the women go on a sexual strike in order to get the men to improve the local water well. Poignantly funny.

Three burials was another good one.

"La Haine

Brilliant film, I always thought it was like a darker, more realistic version of Trainspotting.

Danny Boyle definitely took inspiration from it though.

'Mystery Road' is another modern Australian film with the aboriginal community as a central part of the story.

The name sounds a bit cringey, but it's quite similar in style to No County For Old Men.

I'd recommend it if you enjoyed RBF!

Dunboyne & Dublin

The Amateurs was very funny (IMDb synopsis - Citizens of a small town, under the influence of a man in the midst of a mid-life crisis, come together to make an adult film.)

The Hundred Foot Journey directed by same guy as Chocolat is very good, gentle humour and make sure you have something times in oven for when it's over.

Lastly, for now, The Boondock Saints is a cult classic. Violent and hilarious.

Oh, sorry, another one. Shoot em Up is off the wall, full on brilliant!

There was a follow up made, it was based on a trilogy of books, if memory serves they didnt do all 3 as films though.

Spike lee says its a rip off of his "Do the right thing", I don't buy it though, despite the story loosely resembling someone trying to do the right thing over a day they are different. Many films have used that formula.

I rate la haine as better.
