Just wondering is there something happening in kilkenny this weekend. Could do with finding a hotel rather than driving down both Saturday and Sunday but the hotels are nearly all booked up or way outta budget. 340 for single room 4 star hotel no thank you

in da sticks, london, amsterdam, madrid

I consider Irish hotel prizes are in sane at any time of the year. 4 star is hardly below EUR 200/ night. Dublin usually above 300. Compared to other European Metropols Ireland is busy to price itself out if the market imho

Kilkenny is one of the most expensive places in ireland to stay.

Has been for years.

Its Dublin prices and more most of the time at the weekends

Cheaper to go for a weekend break outside of ireland with some of the prices.

Heard there is a hotel down in Cork, already charging 498 urinals , the night of the Ed Sheeran concert, next year...

Bloody Hell. I went to Portugal for a week a couple of months ago and it was only 190.

To be fair Ed wasn't there.

Ya it's a balls it's more a necessity now than a break away that's the killer. It will spare me 4 hours round trip.
