Well you are guaranteed to score every time but the same can't be said for Liverpool.

He might suit the long ball/park the bus tactics that Maureen likes

Looking for a bit of help

I am not into football nor do I like it but I de like to organise a trip for my son and his grandad and me to go to a Liverpool match somewhere. Be a nice memory for all concerned

What's the best place to source tickets and probably stay a weekend as we can all drink legally.

So is it best to fly or boat or a package trip on a bus

Any help greatly appreciated

Google package deals for Liverpool matches.

Of course they'll be more expensive if they are playing one of the bigger teams.

Flights are cheap and there is a bus service available right outside the airport which will take you to the city centre. It will take approximately 45 minutes A taxi from the city centre to the ground is only about £10

Regarding tickets I would ring the club and explain that's it a special occasion etc and you should be ok. I know of people who've put a blank cheque in a letter, with a request for the number of tickets they require and have been successful. Obviously you will have more chance trying for tickets for games against the lesser teams, Burnley for example as you will stand a better chance. Always be aware though that games can be moved for tv purposes. As for hotels, there are plenty in and around Liverpool but they can be expensive when the football s on. Hope this helps.
