Has anyone else noticed how shite it tastes recently? Thought I was imagining it, but it only contains half the sugar and half the calories now.

Ooh, I never had it. Think they changed the recipe on all their products because of some sugar tax...be afraid! It may never taste the same again

I can't look at the muck after being force fed it as a child when I was quite ill for a year

Can stomach any sweet sugary carbonated drink, even as a mixer

I used to hide it in the press and cough as I was opening the bottle so my son wouldn't hear the fizz... I was coming down the hall when I heard my son coughing in the kitchen and knew he was at my lucozade

The new style bottle is a sugar free version...thats why it tastes like it does. Look for the original label if you want the "original" flavour

Hate lucozade. When I was a child, whenever I had a cold or a flu, I was given lucozade as a cure. 'Drink it you'll, you'll be grand'

No, we're not talking about sugar free version. They changed the recipe on the original Lucozade. It had 33g of sugar per bottle, not its 17g, so it's just filled with artificial sweeteners now.

Drink full cream milk it does what the sugar drink does and is better for you ,aids recovery and is a good source of protein

The new formula, which applies to all Lucozade flavours as well as the original, are implemented from April 2017.

Currently, 100ml of Lucozade Original contains 17g of carbohydrate; this will be reduced to 8.9g.
