Why do they talk so much? I know it's summer holidays but please, I'm not eight. Perhaps the most mental of all professions.

Unfortunately, they're used to filling the silence left by an uninterested audience, so your lack of enthusiasm only serves to spur them on.

I think it's one of those situations where complete psychos do socially acceptable work, and manage to get by without killing anybody. Like dentists for example.

Only teachers are like fucking dementors, in disguise...

Assuming they aren't in a relationahip? I've never known a teacher to be single too long. They have the time.and intelligence (sic) to suss out a companion and often do.

I've never been able to determine the full correlation but I have noticed that, for whatever reasons, people in high stress job positions (teachers, nurses, etc etc) seem to feel more inclined to indulge in frisky behaviour. I'm guessing that perhaps their way of stress release while living a little.

I work in a fast paced, high pressure environment. I can confirm your observations.
