I've no idea where you got that figure from and you couldn't have picked a worse company to make your point. Apple paid at a 0.005% tax rate in 2014, I very much doubt that this figure was much higher in 2015. Theoretically the standard corporate tax rate in Ireland is 12.5%.

His base has been declining ever since he has taken office.

He's the president of one of the most powerful countries in the world, be it you like him personally or not. He's going to visit and that's it. If you don't like it or want to protest about his visit, you are welcome to do it. If you want to get out and wave a flag and welcome him, that's up to you too. People got up off their arses and voted for him. People slagged him off during the campaign that he was this and that but he made sense to the people who voted for him. Clinton would have made a dangerous president in my view. She only said with her husband because she knew she was going to run. From the rumour mill, they lead separate lives. She lied under oath about having a gmail account and using it for state secret purposes. She was found to be untruthful. Trump wants to bring the car making industry to America to create jobs. Take guns off good people ? The ones who leave guns within reach of toddlers who end up shooting themselves or others in the house.

Yes there are murders in Ireland. No disputing that. If ease of access becomes easier much more murders will happen.

No issue with people going to a gun range but I don't think it should be a human right to bear arms when humans have a tendency for cognitive falsehoods and may/often do use their guns in situations they shouldn't.

All reasons so far are personalised reasons... a fairly common theme on fab rather than rational thought... One can have rational thought, disagree but still see not see it as a valid reason for him not coming.

Exactly. I read it collectively (Irish people) as a group/nation, unless I'm mistaken, and so rather than personal hate/vendettas or dislikes, surely the reasons should be for the collective good/bad of the nation. A national issue.

We're not run by a dictatorship as far as I know, so a collective cheering for the sake of the nation isn't going to happen. And to call individual peoples political opinion, opposition and disagreement with Trumps behaviour, thinking and politics "personal hate", "vendettas" etcetera is just appalling. We're all entitled to our opinion, this is a democracy (even though a quite corrupt one).

Yes we should welcome the President of the USA to Ireland. What most people are whinging about is the same as what previous presidents have done in the past ie the travel ban. As for the uproar from the grab her by the pussy remark that was said in a conversation in between guys and most men have said worse while out with the lads,in fact loads of women have said worse,anybody that disagrees just needs to go and listen to the groups of hen parties in Galway every weekend. Trump is a disgrace.

He has further divided his own people and now the suckers that voted for him are beginning to realise that they were USED, lied to and stand to gain very little from putting him in the Whitehouse. He's a businesses man with nothing but $$$ on his mind & if the suckers think he's going to help them when he can help himself, they are sadly mistaken.

He's a Spiv, a second hand car dealer type who will disgrace the office of POTUS and bring ridicule to the leading country of the 'free' world. We've stopped feeling sorry for his supporters, it's plain to see his agenda and if you want to support the kind of world he offers, you are part of the problem.
