I've been smoking since I was 11/12 and tried many times and ways to give them up. A month ago I decided that enough was enough and bought nicotine gum and used that for a week or so now I'm off the smokes yes I do miss them especially with a cuppa or when I drive. If I can give them up anyone can I'd recommend the nicotinelle or what ever way it's spelled

im off the 10 months, first month or so i went cold turkey, then i got a e cig not im off the e cig for two weeks.. if i can do it everyone can.

Great stuff. Keep it up. I'm off them for 5 years an never felt better, more stamina, cleaner teeth and breath, brighter skin, no wheasy cough etc. i am on the ecigs though which I love so still a nicotine addict.

I'm 5yrs off them smoked for 20yrs! Every now and again I get the oh let me have a drag and then I gag they are horrible now!! I never used anything just went total cold turkey!! When you are drinking don't go near the smoking area just stay away!

Well done to everyone but have been my view is unless its because of money reason why bother . My mum smoked v heavy untill she was abt 40. Today is is fighting a loosing battle wit copd. I have over the yrs heard the doctors tell ppl to quit it will give u more yrs etc . Maybe it does but then on the other hand they have told us makes no odds damage is done the minute u put a ciggie in ur mouth . I often wonder if she didnt quit what way would she be now. Really does it benifit ur health i often question it looking at what it has done to my mum.

Well done OP, I have been off them for 16yrs now. I found the first year after giving up that when I was in situations where I would have smoked that I craved a cig. Keep strong and you will get through it.

Both my son and my daughter have used them, all sorts of weird flavours - who smokes cherry and cow dung? I don't even like the smell of B&H vapes and I'm a smoker of those. Theres some underlying smell that gets to me

I'm almost two years off them,was smoking nearly forty a day and I went cold turkey in the end. It was tough but so worth it. Stick with it guys you will see and feel the benefits in a short time.

Well done you! Try not use the vape if you've gotten this far without one! I'm off them 2 months now and just survived a weekend sesh without any and didn't crave them at all, every day it's getting easier

Never smoked myself, so can't relate to the experience of coming off them, but I remember as a child my father coming off them, talk about a bear with a sore head, and thinking to myself even then, I wasn't going to try them if that's what it did to you (odd the things you remember).

Well done to all who have given them up

. I gave them up 15yrs ago cold turkey and haven't looked back . The first week was tough but after that the the want or need for one is all in your head , no more nicotine withdrawals. After a week or two you're sence of taste , smell and breathing should improve. And the big thing no more clothes smelling like an ashtray
