I have a small 2 bedroom house in Cork city left to me. I've been giving some serious consideration to renting them out by the hour. What would a fair hourly rate be for that?

Kerry

Not a bad idea!! But I think you'll have to keep it an affordable rate as most hotels are say €140 a night so maybe €10-20 for the first hour and half that per hour after would be a good rate!???? Or even better for regular users!! Lol

Think very carefully about this.

Insurance?

Theft from the property

Cleaning up

Breakages

Check local airbnb prices and go cheaper

To be honest. Even though it's something I'm sure would be popular I think at the end of the day it would be a nightmare for you. As was said do you want to go in after every hour to clean up and then there would be the neighbours?? Don't think they would be to happy

This is true...its a detached house but crowds traipsing in at all hours would get the curtains twitching alright.
