Any of my Fab friends who live in Dublin be able to give advice? I'm potentially moving to Dublin for a job near Finglas. Just wondering would anyone offer advice as to where the best place to live would be, or would be easier to get good accommodation.

Have you your own transport and what are you looking to spend per month on accommodation?

These answers will tell you where abouts you can get somewhere.

Glasnevin would be a nice place.

Dublin is extremely difficult to get accommodation in. Work out your budget and then see what's affordable. Get your written references (usually previous landlord and employer) and your deposit (up to two months) together.

Then while in Dublin start refreshing daft. The moment a suitable property comes up ring and try to see it there and then. You will have your bits together so try and secure it instantly.

Sounds awful but know this now. Dont spend 3 months on a couch before realising you have to do all this...

Dublin

Blanchardstown, clonee, castleknock, cabra, glasnevin or smithfield. Theres just a few ive named.

Theyre a short driving distance to finglas, but no matter where you look in dublin, rental prices are averaging around 1400 euro a month. Best of luck in your search.

If you're driving you should look at north Co Dublin or as far out as Ashbourne or Ratoath straight down m2/n2 to finglas. Anything to avoid the M50 carpark
