So this is my second fathers day but my first one where I wont see my little girl.This day is one of the occasions I now dread.

And let's not forget the fathers who spend as much time as possible with their kids and when fathers day comes the best present they enjoy is peace quiet and a shit load of motor sport on tv.

There's no point wasting time thinking about the absent dads, they're like trolls in that they don't deserve the attention/energy. There are so many dads out there that are amazing & juggle it all for their families, I'd say well done but it would be patronising, they do it for love & duty just like moms.

I'm thinking of all those who've lost their dads today, as I have. Grateful for the wonderful years we had.
