I totally agree on that, apart from the obvious partition of male and female into purposes, those guys must absolutely wiff of perspiration

Wasnt it said the artist painted this indoors in a studio? the hat of one of the men with a tassel was a giveaway as the hat was never seen in public?

Anyway the naked lady seems mighty pleased with herself even if the men are ignoring her

True, it was painted indoors, but the magic being that Manet stressed the female form to highlight the beauty. It caused a bit of controversy in its time.

But it still contours a thought for a summer day, and a smile.

Art is for all, perspective is for the individual.
