It seems everything you say here can be misinterpreted, partial coincidental references to a person you didn't know existed can result in copious up roar, dear fab... lighten up

That's the risk of the written text, the emotion showed by the tone of your voice and body language are stripped off and only written words are left. It can be very easily misunderstood and many times is.

I think people read to much into what they see though, they go looking for negativity

Agree, emojis help to understand but it's never the same than a proper face to face conversation
