Walking around in Forest near Belfast

This is one thing i was asked today by a polish friend. Is there any good forest walks or forest near Belfast where you can walk of the paths.

Simple reason is where he lives he can walk around freely etc.

And it just got us thinking.

So as the good weather is coming sometime this year.

A bit of walking around outside will be nice to enjoy

Spoilt for choice in an around belfast for forests one in hollywood hills then theres beaver forest an right on up the toe path , colin glen forest ,black mountain ,belfast castle cavehill ,further out there woodburn its huge an very nice
