I think some people are seriously addicted to checking them every couple of minutes. Maybe it's an age thing I dunno but it really aggravates me. It may as well be superglued to the hand.

I've stopped bringing it to bedroom at night now so it doesn't disturb me anymore.

Are you addicted?

At times, I can be. If there is something going and I'm checking twitter or mails from work,it would never leave my side.

Not bringing it to bed at night is sound advice. Blue light and all that.

Usually if I'm off Scarlot I'll check it every hour to see who's awake on Fab but rarely during work cause I'm driving a lot xx

Unfortnately I am one of the people addicted to it I'm constantly on it texting, chatting or online. It's the first thing I check when I wake up.

One of my many "obsessions"... But when I'm with friends or someone I can control myself and keep it away.

It creeps up on us all. I can be that way sometimes checking fab. Once a perv and all that

I did a 3 week holiday without my mobile a couple of years ago. Family knew my travel plans and hotels I was using. I rang home twice. One of the best holidays I've had.

Even when out with girlfriend's they're whipped out and given pride of place on the table. Grrr!

I have a rule. first person that checks the mobile when you are out having dinner has to pay for the dinner....

Dublin/Leitrim

Never been one for being glued to it usually. Gets my attention when it buzzes, if it's work hours I check it, if not check the lock screen to see if it's important, different story if i'm chatting to someone, be rude to not reply to a lady.

My Mam says that when in company and you read a message you have to read it aloud. Needless to say, the phone is very rarely checked when I'm visiting home!
