Getting verified when you're not verified

Okay, so one of the difficulties I think I've noticed is that it's actually quite hard to organise a meet (or even get a message back) with the absence of any verified meets. It's like applying for an entry level job, where the job also asks for 5 years experience :/

I'll admit it's not all bad. I've even had some meets, but I felt like a dick asking them to verify me afterwards and now I regret it. It is difficult for a new guy though. Any similar experiences?

Even after you get verified, it doesn't necessarily get a whole lot easier. You are still competing with a mountain of verified men who may have a more attractive, intelligent or articulated profile. Just keep trucking is all I can say.

I guess you're right, I'll just keep trucking. And try not step on toes while I'm at it. Cheers

Surely if you have had meets, you can/are still talking to them and can ask them to verify your profile?

Of course, if they are derogatory comments, you may not want to see/show them but you should be able to get a confirmed veri without showing the details. Lots of ladies here have similar.

It's not that meets wouldn't verify. I just never asked, and never thought to verify them either. We were both fairly new to the site at that stage

You could still do it.

I've helped a few people get verified.

I HAD no issue meeting newbies to get them on the map with a coffee meet but I am tired of people getting cold feet or saying one thing doing another.

I have new newbies blocked now.

Guys keep saying it is so hard to get meet/get verified but when presented with an opportunity I've had more no shows/cancellations than meets.

Agree with you mate, on here a while myself and just can't seem to get a reply, I don't say stupid crap like 'u wanna fuk' when sending a message, normally very polite and friendly and if they don't reply I just leave it, you just get nothing back most the time haha, then you get shit for not being verified, can't win

Exactly the same. The day before meet, get no reply or they have deleted their accounts. Got fed up trying to help them out

Totally agree, we used to arrange social meets mid week in Dublin for newbies to come along say hi have a social drink or coffee and in turn we would verify them, just saying they were as they said and turned up as promised.

We have given up because with all the moaning about how hard it is to get verified we had to cancel the last two we were arranging die to lack of interest.

Bit like that myself...Always feel it's unfair to say u won't meet people that r not verified cos we were all in that boat at the start so we wouldn't get anywhere if we all had that attitude, but like yourself I feel like giving up on newbies and non verified cos of all the no shows and time wasters.....

I had a thread on this before, so we decided to have drinks Friday 28th April in athlone, purely social, chance to get verified and meet some real life fabbers.
