I've noticed this in lots of profiles. Usually a statement like 'I've been here before, so I know how it works'.. So, how exactly 'does it work' ? Is there a code or secret handshake, or some kind of signal that people message to each other...obviously only those who 'know how it works' can answer.. Anyone ?

"Been here before" implies that you've been an experienced and verified Fabber before, knows the logical sequence of chat, coffee, chemistry then sex...

...and won't be shocked if they arrive over to your house to discover you've a built in dungeon in the basement

I'd be very interested to meet anyone who really HAS got a dungeon in their basement!!

But yeah, I hate seeing that whole "know how it works" thing. It sounds conceited

There is a lady out your way that says she has one in her house and rents it out to the right people. Apparently.

It's normally people who have been here before, delete their profile for what reason whatsoever ( some do it notoriously) and come back with a new username but want to imply they know the fab circus. Unlike you retreating and keeping the profile......

When you join first, fab can be a little bit overwhelming for some people. We rejoined a few weeks ago. We got messages from people telling us all sorts of things, making all sorts of promises.

But we had been here before and knew how things worked so we didn't get upset or excited. We knew better.
