If only my straight male views and messages where from women or couples i may have over a 100 meets by now , not that I want that many.

The point it why them men are not setting there profile as bi. I have no issue with bi men of gay me. I have two close gay friends

Yes

If they are Bi and have Straight on their profiles then they are the ones losing out, don't show on Searches etc.....

You have profiles here that only meet straight.

You have profiles here that only meet Bi.

So they are the ones at loss.

No one cares if one is Bi or Not, but with them not putting Bi on their profile they are missing out on what they like!

I think for some bizarre reason bi men are the least accepted by society. So some say straight because a good amount of women and couples won't meet bi men because of said stigma and I guess some are simply in denial over their own sexuality, and some might just be pulling your leg.

By the end of the day it doesn't really matter, we're all here to live out our sexual fantasies and desires and a site like fab caters for all. Just get on with it, we all get our fair share of unsolicited messages.

Well said very valid reasons why a man's profile may not be bi.

Great point about couples having issues with bi male.

I suppose I just get a little excited when you see you have messages ( not likely a issue for women as ye get so many ) and then it comes from a single male

I think this type of post OP, feeds into the marginalisation of Bi men in a passive aggressive way. We are all well aware of the prejudice that exists towards this group for a variety of reasons.

I would concur to an extent. It's my own limited experience that its women that are more intolerant of Bi men. I've only spoke to 2 women about it and both basically said that while they found male porn to be very arousing they would never sleep or have a relationship with a bisexual man because they could never trust them not to leave them for another man.

What difference does it make? If some guy finds you attractive take a measure of personal pride in it.

There is an amount of stigma and negativity surrounding bisexuality particularly in men. Many men react badly when they have a male admirer.

The root cause of homophobia is fear. What if I like it. What if he "gays" me and then I'm just like him. What will people think of me then. If you look down on bisexuality or homosexuality then these questions cause fear in you and you react badly.

Many homophobes dress their fear in other excuses like safety reasons but the root of it is we don't want to become the thing we despise.

So don't stress about it. If you straight then no amount of attention from bisexual or gay men will change your orientation. And bi guys, try to keep positive and take pride in your sexuality

People don't know if you are straight or bi unless they look at your profile!!

I'm not sure why this keeps getting brought up as if it's some kind of new phenomenon...we all know bi men aren't as accepted on the whole as straight men. We also know the reason why; lots of people find the sex act between 2 men as off putting and also there is the (not sure if this is still factually true or not) perceived higher incidence of hiv amongst gay/bi men than amongst straight people. Why dance around the issue??

There is a greater risk of catching hiv when having anal sex rather than vaginal sex according to the centers for disease control in the US. Most condoms are not designed for anal use so they don't perform as well.

It's a bit simplistic to say all homophobes fear they will be turned gay...thats just not true. Lots of people just find the gay sex act, in particular between 2 men as just disgusting and morally wrong. Its got nothing to do with some suppressed latent homosexuality hidden within

Male views maybe down to them perving the verifications you may have left on single girl and/or couples profiles.

We're big fans of reading veri's, the veri's of the people who left veris, their veri's and so on and so on, before you know it your perving at profiles from all over.

Why do people finish off statements with "but I have gay friends and/or I'm not homophobic"

Kind of kills your argument
