I had an interesting discussion yesterday about passion. Per definition it's a "strong and barely controllable emotion". Now I'm asking you, is there such thing as passion in NSA sex or passioned NSA sex?

I think there can be some passion involved, or Is it what you think Is passion is really only enthusiasm?

I'd find myself to be quite passionate about anything that I do..

I don't think passion can be controlled

You feel it or not, for me sex with someone that it's not passionate or I don't feel passionate about it it's just too mechanical.

You can be a passionate lover in a NSA sex session Yea in my opinion and in my case with girls and some couples (passion was there)

I see where you are coming from, but we'd disagree, we like to meet people that we are attracted to and have chemistry (like most here) but then the anticipation of waiting for the meet drives you wild, then the flirting in the bar, touchy-feely, then when you get to the room it's BANG!! That can be very passionate (lust filled)

Hmmmm...I am quite passionate about going on holiday. The build up, then the constant looking at pics of where I'm going, then you get there & just have a blast. Maybe passion has lost it's true meaning?

What is chemistry but an inexplicable extra? That said, passion in an nsa is something I've only felt when not already emotionally committed to another.

Is there a difference between passion and lust? Yes I believe so.

You can lust after someone. Be with them and thats it.

Passion goes deeper. You have that spark that connection as everyone calls it. It's rare. But it can happen.

I agree with this

Lust is a strong physical wanting, a fleshly desire we strive to satisfy and as such selfish

Passion is a strong emotion of love or enthusiasm about a person or a thing.

Going back on NSA, in an ideal meet situation there should be healthy lust/appetite for each other and mutual passion to please and to strive for a great experience. The passion as an emotion for each other is the tricky one, too much of it and it's not NSA anymore and if there's none it's just the sheer act and the sex might be rather mechanical.
