dublin.

Was a gin drinker for good few years. That and slim line tonic with cucumber is bliss. Now there are hundreds of different gins. But my fav was the green bottle called tanquera it's little more expensive than the likes of Gordon's or blue sapphire. Little fact gin is made from the junaper berry.

If you are ever in portlaoise visit the funky monkey bar, it's our favourite spot right now, they do very nice gin cocktails and the ambience is great.

So many to choose from these days. Three of my faves would be Hendricks, Brockmans and Drumshanbo Gunpowder gin. All slightly different in tastes but equally as delicious

It's really been pushed heavily in the last 3 years. Advertisments all over the place.

I've heard the only gin worth buying is Hendricks but wouldnt be a big gin drinker.

I don't like gin at all.

My bestie has taken up drinking it and demands Hendricks which comes served in a huge goldfish bowl of a glass complete with flower petals, goldfish, cucumbers or some other hipster shite that she wants me to cough up a tenner for. Let's go for a beer she said, it'll be fun she said as my wallet cried robbery at 2am.

I've been drinking gin since Adam was a boy, before it became 'fashionable'

My current favourites are Tanqueray 10 and Dingle Gin.

On a side note, I'm buying no one lunch on Saturday.

I heard they put rakes of ice in it, sure that's dilution

It's ok if there's nothing else to drink. I find the flavour a bit odd. I have a bottle of Drumshanbo Gunpowder gin all the way from lovely Leitrim that I was given a while back but haven't tasted it yet.

Nice to see Drumshanbo spelt correctly but whoever mentioned it up above as well.
