i see the road signs for irelands ancient east in tipp when im driving to ennis and today i decided look it up and i was amazed to see that cork city is included in irelands ancient east but limerick city isnt but parts if limerick county are. now i might not have been in that day in geography class but im sure cork isnt east. who ever drew the map was clearly trying to fit enough into it but it makes no sense to me at all why not have devied up by provence ?

Monaghan as well from what I remember.

It's pretty much everything east of the wild Atlantic way. Although that's an exaggeration, it's only a slight one.
