Anybody read the book from Stephen King or seen the miniseries when it came out nearly 20 years ago?

Well there is a new movie version coming out in September and they just released the trailer. And it's looks brilliant & scary. Looking forward to this!

Trailer looks very like the mini series - which is understandable I guess as that followed the book very closely.

Still dont think theyll beat Tim Curry though - if they try to play IT as a horror without Curry's "playfulnesss" it wont work as well - still gonna go see it though!

Funny I saw the trailer earlier, does look good and the actor playing Pennywise is not bad but you can't beat Tim Currie

Could be worth a look, not out till end of year

Remember that miniseries well..still paranoid about drains and sinks!

And there is NO replacement for Tim Curry!

Apparently the director was saying that this is a far scarier take....and that the actor playing Pennywise isn't playing it for laughs.

Definitely worth a watch by the looks of it!!

Loved the book, the mini series was scary but not on par with the book. Hope the new film does it justice. Absolutely love Stephen King's writing.

I jumped and screamed even though ive seen the movie it still creeps me out lol. I can't wait to see it but definitely can't watch it alone

As long as they dont give too much of the story away in the trailer. Hold off on pennywise being shown in full
