Kite sports

So kite sports have become very popular in the last 10 years. Mainly kite surfing.

But is anybody out there doing land kiting?

As in karting or longboards? I fly power kites, 3m would be the biggest. My favourites are still the flexifoil 6 8 & 10. Fast and great fun

Both kart/buggy and long board. My own kites range from 1.5 to 5.7m .

Pity it's not so popular in Ireland

There's a regular gatherings of kite buggying on Beneone Beach. Its a bit far for you to travel but if you're ever up this way its worth checking out.

Do see them on Bettystown/laytown beach alot. Think they held some European final last yr

Very good. I'm on the west coast. I have heard of it on benone. Very far to go.

Have been thinking of a trip to Bettystown or laytown.look like grand stretches of beach to pick up a bit of speed.

Ah here. It's a place to get to know people. We all have one interest in common.

Why not find out if some of the community have any shared interests in common.
