I'd say no but thats because we are not openly swinging...ie our family does not know. But I suppose if your lifestyle is out in the open then there is no harm.

Depends on circumstances. For me it's not a problem. I'm single and I don't hide that I'm on here. Anyone who knows me knows that I do this so it's no big deal to me.

But I do understand that there is a real threat to privacy in some cases.

I don't have any public face pics but I always send a face pic with the first mail I send to everyone. Personally I like ppl to know who they chatting with

I don't expect one back but sending one will get the convo going further !!!!

Personal preference on whether they are public or not I think. Some peeps prefer not to show due to work /family etc...

Well, people have different circumstances and will different reasons as to why they don't have a face picture up. As long as the 'swinging lifestyle'is considered to outside societal norms for most people, having it their sexual lifestyles widely known would not be a good move.

For example how many people here would be comfortable with their work colleagues, employers and neighbours knowing details about their private lives.

Maybe the privacy might also be for the benefit of others, for example maybe their children.

Then there is also the tirekicking timewaster element and those people that are cheating on their partners.....
