They're too big to swat. I have one or two that might even take the swatter from you and chase you around the room

"Ladies, the Op can accommodate "

I can also travel.

I'm aware that I'm running the risk that not many ladies will want to visit but I suppose it's best to get it out there.

I swear, no one has come to my house and not being totally fascinated by them. Even full blown arachnphobes .

Anyway, just thought I'd throw it out there to see if anyone else was interested in them. I take it it's a big hairy NO!!

That's the thing, they can always be covered or, in the case of tarantulas, can be easily moved to another room .

No. I am scared of them. But then my darling ex husband decided to play with the cobra. As in tap the glass. Make it angry. I panicked. Wasn't a nice sight.

No spider has poison.

It's venom

And it's only a myth that the daddy long legs has the deadliest bite. The leading contender for deadliest bite is the Brazilian Wandering Spider who's bite can lead to an erection which can last for hours. Too bad you'd be already dead though without treatment. Also, the daddy long legs that we see are not even spiders at all, they're harvestmen. An arachnid relative of the spider.

Shit, I've done it again. I've gotten caught up in spider talk.

I'll stop now.

There is a daddy long legs spider, but the harvestman is also known as a daddy long legs and is very often mistaken for a spider. A spider has two main body parts, where the harvestman only has one. The harvestman is the greyish brown one with the very long, very thin legs that you'd see roaming around the garden. Looks like a miniature Martian Machine from War of the Worlds.

The crane fly is known as a daddy long legs aswell as you rightly say.

I would of said 6 eyed sand spider as being one of the most venomous spiders as there is no anti-venom for its bite

"I would of said 6 eyed sand spider as being one of the most venomous spiders as there is no anti-venom for its bite "

There is no anti venom as you rightly say...However very high voltage very low amp shock on the bite works to break down the composition of venom...neutralising it's danger.... works for any venom and so is very effective. Anti venom companies are shouting it doesn't work....they will loose millions. It does work and I can testify to its effectiveness....for snake bite ...Green mamba and scorpion sting.

yes you have a point electric shock does work but for to find such a device in time would render this option null. as found on google.

SIX-EYED SAND SPIDER BITE

The Six-Eyed Sand Spider Bite

There are no confirmed bites and only two suspected ones on record. However, in one of these cases, the victim lost an arm to massive necrosis and in the other, the victim died of massive hemorrhaging, similar to the effects of a Rattlesnake bite. Toxicology studies have demonstrated that the venom is particularly potent, with a powerful hemolytic/necrotoxic effect, causing blood vessel leakage, thinning of the blood and tissue destruction.

I forgot about the 6 eyed sand spider.

There's so many with deadly bites that I suppose we'll never know for sure. I mean, if they all kill, then by definition they're all deadly. At what point do they become more deadly than others?

At least tarantulas aren't deadly to humans so I'm safe enough,.....for now .
