Man, have I got a story. So a younger polish girl asked me out after we'd met in the pub, I was into her and she was a solid looking and fairly funny young one. We meet up and go down to the local beach for a nice stroll and a load of polish Bois pull up and start berating her in polish so I lead her off and just walk on with her and she starts crying explains it was her ex, apologises and practically runs off. We're chatting since the weekend still, will probably see her next weekend but wow it was an odd one. Felt really bad for her!

I got asked out a couple of years ago by a tall slim beautiful woman that I knew very little about other than we had been a the same party a few months earlier. Charming she was, we had a lovely restaurant dinner, followed by a taxi across town to a bar with live music. However, only a few drinks later she got a lot livelier and started to tear up the floor in Spanish flamenco dance moves. This was fun. Her getting way too d*unk and messy was not so I took her home. Surprisingly, after few hours and a few cups of coffee with her house mate she sobered up and came back to mine to literally tear the cothes off me. That turned into a 3 day boozy fling that looking back was very erotic but glad it finished and we parted. I later learned that she regularly struggled with booze. I prefer coffee first dates since then

Years ago, can't even remember fully. He turned me down, I've never had the confidence to do that again.

Was in a nightclub two years ago and met a old client I'd known through work. While everyone was drinking their asses off, she couldn't believe this one guy was sober . So, she asked for a lift home, had ourselves a snog and then I asked her out

Ahh the days of drinking for dutch courage then either getting off the dance floor or looking around when the slow set came on. Great, great times

What's 'the iron circle' mean?"

The iron circle...basically, when you go to chat up a girl in a club or bar who happens to be with her mates, you're not just trying to chat her up, it's all her mates you're trying to chat up because if one or more doesn't take to you, that's it, chance gone!

Last time I asked anyone out was my ex and don't think I'll be asking anyone else. Think beauty is there to hide the abusive behaviour in some women. Not confident enough just yet to even think about asking anyone out on a date

Ah yeah know exactly what you mean now. I wouldn't bother approaching a group of Irish girls, far too shy and cliquey.

That's a bitch. Not sure why unless he was already expecting someone and it might have looked bad for him. Don't let that put you off....I'd say it was nothing to do with you.

Being around Christmas time he probably wrongly thought you were d*unk or it was a wind up

He probably had been just let down by someone so wasn't in the mood but even so he should have said yes or no to you not just walk away and say nothing

Must say, kudos to ye ladies that tried. Not enough of that craic goin. Maybe if more tried, they might see what lads have to go through, and might go a little easier on them.

Well being totally honest if I was on a relationship and someone came up to me in a bar and tried it on I'd turn them down too. Maybe he is like me lol

Its a little funny seeing the women get shot down once and never try again. You'd never manage as guys, getting shot down only once on a night out requires some great luck!

No's arent the worst thing in the world, missing out on something awesome on the otherhand...
