The idea that politicians dont follow through with their campaign promises is a fallacy. In America they've looked at it in detail and for politicians elected in the late 90s 73% of campaign promises were kept. In the UK the average is 82.5% of promises kept. His travel ban was ridiculous and blatantly illegal. It had no foundation on actual security risks, it targeted muslim countries as long as Trump had no financial interest, they detained a 4 year old child for being a terrorist risk for no reason, they seperated families and left people stranded back in a country sometimes with nowhere to stay and no way to access money theyd sent to the US and put lives at risk of people who were fleeing violence. Hillary would have been poor but at least generally responsible. | |||
