I just noticed there are way more UK fabbers with public face pics, not like I am one to judge but I wonder why is that??

Is it they are more liberal on the other side or maybe Ireland is a small country every one knows every one??

I think a bit of both. But on here, most people will know someone who knows someone you know. I met a couple one night a few years ago, and she worked with my sister's ex bf, and he had done business with another of my sisters.

Exactly. There are real impacts on people's lives here if your secret sex life becomes public. Maybe not in the bigger cities but the rest of the country is still small communities where everyone knows everyone else's business.

To be honest, it would probably be a nine day wonder and no more than that. I would never ever tell anyone if I met someone I knew on here, and I would expect the exact same courtesy back. There is nothing to be gained in outing anyone who is only doing what comes naturally.

Well my sister is here(and I know that from her profile description), my cousin was here at one stage(face pic). There was another guy from my town with face pics up who I knew quite well and he was in a relationship. I just sent him a mail, not telling him who i was, with his real name in it telling him I wouldn't be saying anything not to worry but maybe to hide his face picture. There are still 2 locals here with face pics. They are about 18 or 19 so I've just left them off.

Basically my point is no way would I put up a face picture on public. I would hate for those people I know are here to know I'm here.

It's a bit of both. Ireland has a smaller population and much more of a community and family focus.

The UK is more liberal towards casual encounters. In Ireland you need to go through a vetting and interview process, then get approval from all her mates
