I know a guy here, he's verified, I know him from outside fab and I've met him for fun. He's always seemed perfectly normal to me, never had a problem with him or anything but for some odd reason he insists on using some random google image of a strange guy who looks nothing like him as a profile pic. I've asked him about it and he just ignores me. He's not the only person I've seen doing it though and I just don't get it? Like what do they think is going to happen at a meet? The other thing I wonder about is, I know he has his own face pic on fab (on private) so how come admin or whoever approved his pics hasn't noticed the 2 different people?

He makes me laugh like he just completely ignores me when I mention it! Don't even know why he feels the need to have any face pic up as a public profile pic, his or the strangers, I would understand if he was using it to private mail people, it's not ok but it would at least make sense to me

He probably ignores the question as he his no answer - or at least no sensible one. as you say, just keep your own face pic in private and have something else as an avatar

Odd one alright. Is the stranger he uses in his pics way better looking than him? Or did he just use someone of "similar attractiveness" so that his identity is hidden but people aren't seriously disappointed when they meet him.

Most people aren't gonna put up a shite photo of themselves. Girls especially. All my photos are carefully selected obviously. Most people will have some kind of filter on their photos tbh. That's completely different to using someome else's photos

As far as I know reporting brings the whole profile down, so it's a tricky one when you know/have met the person.

I reported an Irish tv for stealin fetlife pics and using them to get to number one on Irish pics. Duty reported and (s)he got a temporary ban and for a while uploaded genuine pics. But lately (s)he has been at it again, getting to number 1. Only this time I don't know what profile is being robbed so can't prove it.... What to do..
