It's about discretion . No problem sending face pic but you can't be sure the one you receive back is genuine either for all you know could be random pic found on web . Got to be careful

Its discretion and trust. Once youve met someone youve a better idea of what theyre like and if you could trust them with it.

Its the reason I dont bother with any profile that asks for a face pic on the first message. Yes it does save some time if its important but no Im not gonna send a pic to what could be some dude from down the road for all I know!

No...never really engage with those either...somtimes i go ah sure its just a face...what would they do with it...the thing i dont like about kik is its too easy to just click to share your photo to another user...and gawd knows where theyre gone once theyre sent....usually more risky on kik too with face and body togeter...i think i seperate the two more on pics i put up here...if someone seems genuine enough its usually alright though...and face cam in chat is usually alright too.

Yeah same here...probably more than not...youre not calling round to just look at their face anyway...its nearly of minimal importance...even after meeting youd forget what they look like and would never recognise them if you passed in the street...compared to someobdy you might have never met but seen a face pic.

I understand what most are saying but if physical attraction is important to you, I don't know how anyone would meet without a face pic. also imagine chatting to somebody for weeks, then a face pic is exchanged and there is no attraction. complete waist of time. That's just my thinking on the issue.

I have to say I agree with the op . I have my face pics public , so when someone messages me , they already know if they are attracted to me or not. So ,, I'd like to know if I'm attracted to them ! Basically if I look at someone and can't imagine myself having sex with them ( that's what we are here for after all ) and there's no attraction for me , well then there's no point in endless endless messages . In saying that , I do have friends on here that I just chat to that I'm never going to meet ( for various reasons) , but we get on well and have great banter !

I'd be reluctant to send my face pics due to the fact that I had a bad experience the last time I was here.

I have had guys send me their face pic (which I haven't asked for) then get abusive when I won't send one back.

My general rule is if I'm chatting to someone for a while and lime where things are heading then I'll consider sending a face pic.

ye I know alot who are nervous about face pics been "used" elsewhere but I hate chatting to someone for ages and then realise there is no attraction

I totally get why others wouldn't want to share face pics to soon . There are always constrictions , like job , relationships , etc etc . But , I'm single ( yay ) , self employed ( another yay , although scary at times !) and I actually don't care who knows I'm on here . In fact I've told a few of my clients about fab , and some have checked it out and joined and had a great time ! Yay for fab ! I don't care what others think of me being on here , and both my parents are dead ,, dad passed just before Christmas ( still struggling with that one

..... ) but I know others are not in the same position , or just might not want to go sharing face pics .

same Hun , it's happened to me so many times . I had one guy , was adamant he wanted to meet asap because he was only in Dublin a few hours . I asked for a face pic , ,,, he said he has a very public / important job and didn't want to send one . I said ,,, look , you messaged me because you saw me , liked me , and want to meet me ,,, because you can see my face , not just one pic , but several , so you can be pretty sure I've not robbed them off the internet . I'm not going to meet you without knowing what you look like , do either send one , or stop messaging me . This went on and on and on ( should've just blocked him !) and on and on ! Eventually he sent one , 20 messages and two hours later ! There was no attraction ! !!
