I am a male feminist in that I believe the sexes should be equal.

Sadly many have misappropriated the term, and it's seen as being a man hater. That's not feminism.

If you feel that women should be superior to men you shouldn't call yourself a feminist.

Cool John

I don't get the labelling though.

If you are for equality are you not an equalist?

I suppose with the term feminism leaving a bad taste in some people's mouths that maybe the term humanist would be more accurate.

Now that's something I can buy into

I think the whole thing is pointless (men and women are already equal) but the propaganda is very similar to the alt right fake news stuff used to create disharmony when things aren't actually all that bad, to unite against a perceived enemy (which varies from all men to at least "patriarchal" society) ... Depending on the level of crazy

Feminists have more in common with Trump/ukip than they care to recognise

You're describing what I call "tumblr feminists". I don't class them as feminists.

But I don't agree with all you've said, inso far as men and women being equal. I wish they were but sadly certain parts of society has other ideas.

The meme of trump and his cronies signing that bill regarding abortion comes to mind. You'd never see a group of women signing a bill that prevents men from ejaculating only for the case of reproduction.

I believe that of women don't have rights over their own bodies then they're not equal to men....And we should change that.

That has nothing to do with equality between the sexes though?

I'm only joking. equality to me means nobody is abject(male or female) from doing anything. I don't think that's the case though

by law yes your right but if a man goes for a physically demanding job and a woman, I couldn't picture a woman getting it. maybe I'm wrong
