As a single guy on a Swingers site i have to remind myself that this is primarily a site for couples. I'm starting to wonder if it is a place for single people at all. I realise the odd couple do look for a single person mostly a female but i'm wondering if it worth the hassle for a single guy especially. The proportion of singles guys to single ladies here is unreal as most guys know...

Well, it's really down to what you make of the site. There's plenty of unattached ladies here if that's your fancy. There's couples looking for guys if that's your thing...

I wouldn't be put off by the ratio of men:women here as some of the guys just post cock pics to the women with "fancy a f..?" So, as long as you can string a sentence together, you're well on the way there mate...

Just one step at a time here though. First, online chat... then Coffee... and finally physical fun

But yes the sites primarily for couples and if youre a single person then its something to be aware of. That being said if you enjoy swinging that doesnt stop just because you dont have a partner.

I still feel that as long as you dont feel entitled to women or couples time or anything else then you'll be ok here. If getting laid is the only thing that makes this place worthwhile to you then you're going to be pretty disappointed. But if you can enjoy the pics, forums and getting to know people and you can be respectful of others then you'll get a lot out of being here.

Well I am having a singles only party at the weekend and had to turn away lots of women because of space restrictions. There are plenty of single women on here if that's what you are looking for and there's lots of couples that meet single guys too.

This perceived 1000s of guys to every woman is a bit off if you ask women they will tell you the ratio of women to decent guys is a lot closer than you think

True laid, might be 1000s of single guy profiles, but how many of those are actually meeting.

Starting to think the ratio of genuine guys to ladies is much closer, or at least that's what I am hoping.

I just wondered as i find that I'll be looking through profiles that I'll typically stumble across on the forums and think they look nice but 9 times out of 10, they are either private or they are only looking for other singles. So I just wondered about the rational. Thanks for responding thou, x

There's plenty of single women here?

Slim pickings if you ask me regarding numbers of active single fems in my opinion. And the pool of fems lesson if a guy is looking to connect with a woman of a certain type or for something very specific regarding play. And even less if she feels you're not her type. You really must have the Midas touch laid if you had to turn away lot's of women

Why is it that some couples think only them are real swingers? It's rather arrogant tbh. While swinging started out as 'wife/partner swapping' as a consequence of the sexual revolution of the 60ties, modern swinging is defined as promiscuous sex among like minded people - both singles and couples- often with a social context.

I don't know tinder as such but I reckon as a dating/hook up site it is somewhat different to fab in structure and purpose. What I appreciate about fab is that the reason for being here is clear from the onset and it enables to meet likeminded people that acknowledge and respect the sexual preferences/desires of all sexual orientation and both gender. Further preferences and desires can be stated (profile) discussed (forum, chat room) and eventually lived out (meets, parties etc).

Why should this only be available to couples? And why can a single person not be a swinger?

I've never felt any negativeness about being single on here, I think most people are pretty open minded and take you for who you are rather than whether your single or not, we are all here for a good time and explore where we want to go so its all good. I've met amazing couples and singles and had great fun along the way so personally I think its not just for couples, some couples don't want singles but there are others that do so its all cool

Agree... Swinging, like everything else has evolved into an openness that includes all walks of life imo.

When swinging started, it was pretty straight forward sex with an extra partner but look at the diversity of how it is now so no, it's not just for couple's... It's for all open minded people regardless of relationship status.

I (WB) have been active in the scene for over ten years, in Spain, the U.K. Ireland and France, but up until I met the beautiful HB, always as a single guy. I never felt, or was made to feel like swinging was just for couples. Every one has there preferences, same way we have ours, and you have to, like in life, find your place in it. A place you a happy and feel comfortable in.

Fab is like a jug, you can only take out of it, exactly what you have put into it.

I don't see it as a site primarily for couples,it's a site for whomever wishes to use it,there are all sorts on here every day and night. If you want to play the long game and get some meets go for it,obviously it's harder for the single XY's but it's not impossible.

From quite a distant perspective i think you woukd be a bit frustrated as a single guy on here...it seems like you have to spend an inordinate amount of time on the site...and sorry ..but from the forum posts and veris..(my only way of gleaning some perspective)...single guys seriously compromise their position and kiss sone serious ass to get meets..

i reckon some people put a huge amount of effort in and get little return, but others find it handy enough...and i would guess the differential is almost entirely based on physicality..

It appears to be a very shallow pool.
