"to many to pick from different songs for different moods "

Very true, but one of my all time favourite songs is 'The other side of the sun', by Janis Ian.

Also love 'Tougher than the rest', by Bruce Springsteen, 'One day like this', by Elbow. And a million more, depending on how I'm feeling at any particular time.

Waterford

Probably my favourite piece of music is 'The Ecstasy of Gold' by Ennio Morricone.

While there are tonnes of songs that I love, none of them take me to where that piece of music takes me.

It's orgasmic on a spiritual level. I have actually wept tears of joy at times from listening to it.

But has to be played at very high volume to get the best out of it.

Is he doing a farewell concert soon or have I mixed him up.

Hear you on where music can take you, a lot of rock, punk, soul and blues in my influences but went to a love duets opera performance in st. Mark's in Italy and nothing has ever come close to that experience. Such admiration for musicians.
