Fake profiles

Have only been on a few weeks but omg so sick of all the fake profiles on this.Can there be anything done about it admin???they get deleted and sign up again using a different username.

Problem is there is no rules regarding deleting profiles and starting again... seems to be quite common.

Would be different if they were offensive, banned and then started another profile but im sure ip addresses are checked in that case..

I doubt IP addresses are checked. They are too easy to change

Generally just stick to properly verified profiles...theres loads of fake ones but theyre generally looking fake, be it verifications or otherwise....theyre sure aint many fake men profiles...well not many that dont disapear after a day anyway.

Id nearly think yourselves were fake ....now not saying you are or anything but i have my own way of judging profiles over the years which suits me..and saying that ive probably chatted to a few fake profiles..took real ones for fakes...even phoned a few fake profiles....and they usually have nice pics so i dont have a problem with them at all anyway...the stealing peoples pics side of things is the only issue i have with fakes really....

...being a couple getting mails from fake profiles all the time...yeah would be time consuming though....id hang out in chat and see whos who....after a while youd know nearly every profile anyway...be good.

It takes a lot more effort to set up a fake profile than it does to block and ignore one.

The fakes feed on attention,block n ignore they will soon get bored.

True but can MAC addresses be traced from HTTP? Difficult to mask a MAC address...

Ah theres some mad folk out there...i can see why they get off on it...but if theyd only use pics from porns or something, or at least from an arerican swing site if they really need what they think are more authentic looking amature pics...ive zero respect for people who steal personal stuff.

I think it only goes on your email you use...and if it didnt you could go down the local library and open a new account from another ip.

As regards photos if they are public copy link and post it to this website called tineye.com it a photo regignation site do scours the likes off google etc to tell if photo is fake and been used on other websites

Your MAC address will stay in your home network only it is never transmitted beyond a router. That's how it works

Or use an IP scrambler - or turn your router on and off

I've no idea what a MAC is apart from makeup

Block new and unverified members from messaging you. If you're a site supporter you can also opt to only receive messages from other site supporters. Other than that, there's not a lot you can do, other than report and block. Don't let them ruin your fun.

Im happy with a free account...dont ruin it for me ...tbh fakes would pay too...and im sure some do...no sure way to spot them or remove them...i say leave them be but stealing pics is far worse than tricking people into thinking theyre what the say they are...tiny eye wont work on pics in a private gallery...or most sites like this...gotta just use what you have to make your mind up about profiles...its all fun for people at the end of the day...fake or not.

No...i jest...ive seen them hapoen...saw a girl here a while back...status saying whoever verifies me can fook me...i was surprised to see she had three meet veries in half an hour of joining before she was removed....also see people going on about fake cams in the uk rooms....who can ye trust these days eh.

But by charging a small fee makes it that bit more difficult for those setting up new fake profiles on a repeat basis. As it would soon get costly for these time wasters.. Plus if the developers/admin have a bit more input on here to reduce the left over timewasters it would only have a positive effect

Thus reducing the pool of fakes.

Annoying as all the fakery is, in a sense you just have to suck it up. Fab obviously needs the income stream (which included clicks from free profiles) from desperate males, couples and women provide the bait for that... it's for yourself personally to decide how much of that you can accept and if you're getting enough bang for your buck. A site called the libertine connection tried to be very classy and was invitation only... it was amazing but folded after a few months.. Fab prevails.
