The Marker is Nice too..

If you looking outside the city the Portmarnock Golf hotel worth a look and nice and private, as is Clontarf Castle which offers last minute deals sometimes.

Dunboyne Castle also nice if you want to be outside but not miles outside, and it has the whole spa thing going on.

Carton house in Maynooth if you are a golfer.

Outside of that Druids Glen in Wicklow is a bit off the beaten track but has the whole spa experience thing, and the golf thing.

Seafield in Wexford and the Monart in Enniscorthy if you dont mind looking at everyone wandering around in their robes all the time.

Really depends on what you are looking for and how much you want to spend. The booking sites all do deals sometimes but shop around as some are better than others.

Weekends will always be more expensive than midweek but some great value to be had midweek sometimes especially if you booking last thing. Have had some great deals in good hotels over the years.

Watch out for the city hotels as the parking charges can push the price up and are a hidden charge usually.

Look on the review sites and shop around.

Air B&B also worth a look as you can get some great houses / apartments
