I am a man, I have a bag. Don't know why it's called a manbag.

It's practical, and stylish. Wouldn't be able to function without it really. Always have water, book, whatever other shit I accumulate...

While I personally don't like handbags and rarely use one. I can't see anything wrong with a man bag. I think they're cool.

Also I'm for equality, let men suffer the same painful experiences like us ladies ie never finding anything in that bag and you've to empty the whole bag before you find your car key, your lip balm lost the lid and everything is covered with it, your friend bought exactly the same handbag, airport custom enjoying themselves by exposing each single item to the public while screening your handbag etc etc.

No one pays as much attention to fashion as men who don't like fashion!

I have a couple of different bags... rucksacks are a bit trendy at the moment but tend to ruin a suit. Think I'd draw the line at a bag without a shoulder strap as you're veering towards clutch territory there - saying that, I'm sure there's men rocking them with ablomp somewhere... just not many in Dublin!

I remember in the 80s it was sort of fashion in Eastern Germany...and most of the lads carrying such bag were working as official or unofficial servants for the STASI, the local secret service. The bag made sure they could recognize each other and so could anyone else. The message to the commoner was "we are here and everywhere"

I prefer to carry my stuff close to the body, any tool kits and equipments for whatever purpose is fine in a Rucksack

OP, if the fashion phenomena is appealing to you, just go for it. A healthy shot of eccentric attitude doesn't harm in my book. Otherwise consult the Mambeast.

To be honest I think you're trying to cover up because you're a fan and that's ok but I will say I have my own attitude and line of thought and if some guys want to relive their youth through fashion that's ok too it's life we adapt we move on,but for me it's a no no women wear handbags not men.
