Unfortunately it happens u just have to try hone ur bullshit meter to detect these sort of people. Rather than thinking it a total waste of time take the good from it and see what u can do to prevent it happening again

I've had 6 hour round trip[ no shows on a few occasions it's a pain in the bollix alright

Par for the course on FAB unfortunately.

Make sure they are well verified first and speak on the phone before the meet.

It's nasty and annoying when it happens.

Seems to happen to everyone here at some stage inc couples/ singles etc

I think sticking to well verified peeps is the only way to go

Things do happen in real life but only proper manners to let the other people know once you know what what.

But alas it does happen

I've been stood up twice by someone who was well verified. It counts for very little in my experience.

My no shows were very well verified had chatted for ages on here so all looked quite legit,luckily the trips were Dublin and I was able to arrange a spur of the moment meet on 2 occasions and I got to do some retail therapy on the other
