Chatting to a guy ( nice hot looking )

For a while

Met up for coffee eventually

He wasn't feeling too great

Anyway kept on talking through messages

Said to meet up and make it up to me over another coffee

Asked him last week to meet up for coffee this week said he would let me know closer to time

He's too busy plus going out with his mates

Wasted my time on him

It could be anything. He's probably married. But it could be work, family issues or simply nerves or something he doesn't feel comfortable telling you about. Would be a lot easier if they just said sorry I'm not interested in meeting. They like being chased.

There can be lots of reasons why someone can't commit to a meet, or does and then can't meet anyway. I hate the term timewaster. I know there are a lot of people here who arrange meetings with zero intention of turning up, but they're not the same as those who arrange and just can't make it when it comes down to it. The first are timewasters, in my opinion the second are not. It's unfair to tar all with the same brush.

Being deceptive and putting things on the long finger can result in hurt and is not fair on anybody really. It's difficult to tell but here it seems he wants to string things along with no intention of properly meeting and every intention of maintaining the contact. That may be nerves or a sense of wanting to feel wanted and chased outweighing the actual act. Whatever it is, it's not a good way of functioning in any respect and is bad in the longrun. I'd say cut him loose Red, it can be difficult if you've taken a particular shine to him but it's really better overall.

His truth is he was there with his girlfriend/partner/wife whatever. Then has the audacity to take pictures of me and my car. That's when a line was crossed.

My fault in all of this is being nice and ignoring the signs.

Real life and fab life are two completely different types.

From one Red to another Red, always a learning curve on fab. I have filters so I have to initiate chat, usually with a wink. I don't think there needs to be a chase, as once chat started, it will be clear if mutual interest. Since I initiate chat, then I think I have shown I am interested, so I will wait on them to ask to meet and if they don't then no harm done.

As with chances, i am okay with giving second chances as long as they know there will be no third.

Just take your time OP, the good ones are worth holding out for
