The first message I got from the site actually said I had - but I hadn't. So I ignored it and tried again and got the message I copied above.

I just wonder if a sequence of words I used looked like a site

Not admin, but there will probably be some code written in that picks up stuff that looks like a link. Admin have enough to do without reading people's private messages.

I think if you put something like 'blah blah.come and have a good time' It would assume the '.com' bit of the message was a website address.

Go back and look at the 'offending' message. You've probably got a misplaced fullstop or something in there.

I tried to look at it - but because it offended the site, it didn't send and theres no record of it

Yeah sounds like an automatically done one. Normally the message is rejected if you mention another site of a similar nature, such as swing or get but not a ban. Maybe policy has changed.

We're also not meant to discuss bans you naughty woman!

I'd forgotten about mentioning bans - tho this is a block - is that the same?

I was answering a message. I didn't use any words thats the sender hadn't.

BUT viagra was mentioned (purely because someone had offered to sell them some). I bet the last word in my sentence was viagra followed by a full stop

I got one of them too last spring, talking about findom (see thread about it) to a friend after I had read an article about it in the Irish times. The programming loop that screens messages for un-kosher content seems to have a problem with certain terms or as other mentioned links to other websites.

In fairness you get first a warning message before a ban but if you're as stubborn as me and Loncav and try to resend the message, boom and you're banned for a short time. It's all fully automated I think.

Anyway Loncav i wasn't a banned for long time if that is any consolation

A couple of hours lol. Half the time I wouldn't even notice

I did see the first notice but ignored it because I thought it was a mistake.

Or I'm stubborn and thought it couldn't possibly apply to me

Could possibly be that in the middle of 2 words if you made an error and put a . Without spaced it might have seen that as a URL.. but then again that does not get you a ban if you copy and paste a youtube link.. so its a strange one
