Tis the season for ...... Man Flu

Woke up on saturday morning hungover with a tingle in my throat fast forward to now and i seem to have contracted the deadly Man Flu virus the likes of which never seen before bunged sinuses and full of self pity i need remedies i need your pity and if i dont make it to see tomorrow i love you all ....... especial those in gold

Not quite true. It depends on testosterone levels that reduce a mans immunity to fight colds and flu so some might suffer more than others.

In all fairness though, the roofer guy up above on the thread hadnt got flu. Hed physically be unable to work if he did,as his energy is diverted to fight the virus and hed not be able to get out of bed. On top of that, his boss shouldnt allow him to work if he had flu. He'd be infecting others who he came in contact with. Those that come in contact with a carrier of flu are usually sicker than the carrier.

Not really related to man flu, but while I'm in the heights of labour my ex was complaining to the midwife. I have a headache. I never forget her saying. I will get you a paracetamol, sit in the chair and try and relax.... he nearly got the flannel across the back of the head...
