I sometimes think there could be more signage in rural ireland but network coverage is generally ok so google maps still works

The old reliable literal jokes

I get you op. A lot of Irish people are miserable begrudgingly arse holes.... Very hard to relate to

But on the other side, the Irish wit and dry sense of humour can be irreplaceable

I think Muff has it's problems. Most get lost there and don't know what to do when they do arrive. People should stay longer and savour all Muff has to offer

Do you mean that you don't recognise the country you grew up in or that sometimes you get lost when out & about?

.....

It can be a tough country to live in if you find yourself on the margins of society be it on a social or sexual level. The Irish by nature are a very closed group or herd mentality type of people. I have always been comfortable in my own company and thankfully we don't live in a city so we have the time and space to concentrate on our own personal space.

Your post can be taken in a couple of different ways OP. Do you mind if I ask if you feel your country and those in it are passing you by or the country is full of people you choose not to or can't interact with. A brilliant topic either way

I'm struggling to deal with the levels of retardation in the under 25 group for a start

I just saw some girl standing in the middle of a supermarket aisle doing duck faces for about 5 mins

Thanks for your intellectual responce & not the usual Fr Ted Irish wit. It's more the lateral for me.To meet trust worthy people, and chat about our past, present, future experiences & desires. To meet non judge mental people and chat about our preferences would be cool for a change.

So you simply state do you feel lost in your country and then discuss. No personal opinion to guide the conversation and when people "discuss" this on a father ted level you resort to insulting the irish wit and mentality. Maybe you have lost your sense of humour and if you feel truly lost maybe a forum on an adult swinging site isnt the best place for serious advice? They have free phone numbers with people trained in how to help you.
