Guests list.

Lately we've read people talking about looking for a guest list when invited to a party or events. Its something we actually never thought to look for!seems to make sense actually.have you looked for them or do people organizing partys mind giving them out?

Depends on the host

I've received guest list beforehand for almost every house party I've attended

Any parties we have been to we ve always received a guest list ,it's nice to know whose attending and gives us the chance to check out their profiles .

Yes we provide guest list to avoid conflict as it does happen...We like a guest list too get to chat to whos attending prior to party

i think most private parties would post a guest list.

Gives people time to check out who else going, and pull out early if there are people that they dont get on with.

No - you can't expect to be given a guest list before deciding whether or not to go

And as jilly said, lists don't apply to socials or m&g

Some Socials etc set up kik groups for those invited so they can chat etc before an also see who else is going.

As I don't use kik I just turn up. Haven't a clue who is there but they are fun anyway so no complaints!

A list would be handy but the organizers have enough to do without sending out lists.

The problem with asking for a guest list is that with so many 'fence sitters' the issued guest list can end up being very different to those that are actually at the party.

Half on the list may be there but the other half are last minute additions due to cancellations, I'm not going if she is types and no shows. But c'est la vie!

We release a guest list a few days before, once all attending have confirmed. Some folk use it to say hi to others so dont use it at all.

On one level for couples events it helps to show the hosts have an idea about what makes a night work - couples who have a similar level,of attractiveness or appeal to one another.
