As far as I know Stevie G's status as a legend is not in direct competition with Roy Keane. Stevie is a scouse legend. He's up there in the top ten figures in the clubs history so that's legend status in my book

the man is a legend ... in a game full of twats .. he rose above and played the game ... soccer has very few legends purely because of money and lack of loyalty .. how many soccer players grew up or dreamed of the club they play with .. its a farce of a game .. put an all Ireland hurling final next to it and if anybody can argue commitment they need their head examined .. but yet anytime I watched him play for Liverpool I got the same sense of commitment .. so yes he is a sporting legend ... just thought I would get that out there ... don't even fooking like soccer

No bullying, no wind up, nothing childish, or bigoted....just measured responses to your attempts to talk down to me. Rather than me running along, why don't you just give up on your pathetic attempts to be the big man, or take 5 minutes, to read the actual contribution to the conversation, that I was making and which every last one of you ignored....had Gerrard had his way, he was leaving Liverpool, for Chelsea, for 30 million. Only death threats against him and his family, made him stay. I'm sure you proudly remember that about the 'legend'.

I know this will be unpopular with some and i will get a few slaps for it im sure but would you ever grow up.Im a neutral supporter also and i work with dickheads like some of the previous speakers.It is obvious to me that all the "dickheads" seem to be all Man Utd fans for some reason.Just saying it as i see it.If your best retort is to have a dig at me then be my guest.Ive thick skin.Not like you guys which is obvious to me from reading the thread.Blah blah blah....
