Running from something in a dream symbolises you are escaping from yourself or an emotion that you are uncomfortable with, it usually means emotional growth is going on as your subconscious is questioning it.

A field in a dream symbolises our field of everyday activities and how we handle ourselves in social settings so that is a healthy dream as your subconscious is analysing yourself daily.

No! definitely not! fighting in a dream can mean youre fighting to prove yourself or fight problems you may have. Your subconscious is telling you to stand up for yourself and not be afraid to face whatever problems you have.

Fighting in your dreams is to do with your independence or a situation that you feel powerless over in your day to day life, it's your subconscious mind processing the emotions behind the situation that you feel you can not do anything about

The field represents your desire to be free and because a field is open and fertile, it also points to personal growth. The faceless child who is crying indicates you are still searching for your own identity and finding out who you are.The crying says youre not afraid of showing emotions. A positive dream overall Miss S

Ok to piece the three main points together

Field, crying, faceless child.

Field symbolises social settings and how you handle yourself in them, faceless child, girl is the sensitive innocent side of our personalities and is calling for a different approach to a situation

Tears symbolises an emotional release or cleansing and doing it in the dream means we can't in daily life but waking in tears changes the meaning slightly to suggest a past hurt is surfacing now as you are ready to deal with it emotionally on a conscious level.

The combination of all three suggests a social embarrassment as a child that continues to dictate your adult behavior which you don't like, perhaps a defence mechanism you put in place at the time that no longer suits you hence your need to see the situation through your inner child and your tears for her predicament is your subconscious mind telling you that you are ready to acknowledge her and say it's ok I can handle this now.

Does any of that make sense to you? I love this kind of stuff... have had some mad recurring dreams that eventually led to me making changes that worked for me

I never had a reoccurring dream, but I've had dreams with the same theme a few times, Zombies, but not nightmares, Ive always enjoyed the genre in cinema so I'm always really enjoying myself in the dreams, a bit gutted its over when I've woken.

I did have a dream my grandmother had a new kitchen fitted, and they found all the extra space behind the cupboards, so she was able to get a bigger kitchen in. She was trilled and very excited showing me around. Now my grandmother is still alive, it's her 94th birthday next month, which I'll be home for, it's a surprise and I fitted her last kitchen for her before I retired from carpentry 5 years ago

I find this stuff really interesting, I think we should have this as a regular thread

Its certainly looking that way Madame! I just love it! We all have superhuman libraries in our minds.. Dreams are part of that library in our subconscious mind where thoughts and emotions are stored. Dreams can be used to strive forward with ambition or help to solve an underlying problem we re not willing to face when awake. The power of the mind is everything whether we re awake or asleep

Dreaming of zombies means you felt dead inside at one point, a trauma or hurt took place in your life that youve not quite dealt with. Your grandmother indicates your ability to make wiser choices in what you have experienced already. The bigger kitchen means youre opening yourself up to endless possibilities, professionally and personally. It indicates youll soon be known to a lot of people in your personal life and it can also indicate an increase in popularity or even fame

If you want, ill try help you understand the dream from your younger years? The ex dream though means youve not found closure just yet from the relationship and need to do so to move forward in your life.It doesnt necessarily mean you are still in love with the person either. Dreaming of an ex can indicate hope for love in the future, that is missing in your life in the present.

Some great aspects of growth in both dream's

Zombies or walking dead symbolises spiritual journey combined with the no fear suggest openness and willingness to the change of awareness

I love the grandmother combined with the kitchen and extra space

Kitchen in dreams is the heart, the mothering figure of grandmother is root and core values of our ancestors we instill in our own lives by how we morally live day to day and being aware of extra space is a direct reference to room for spiritual growth. Interesting to see if it connects to a big change in your life or an ongoing journey of emotional and spiritual growth

Its a sign your body is in recovery mode and your seratonin levels are on the increase, which triggers the brain to dream. Its perfectly normal to have bad dreams while the oxygen levels return to normal. Things will settle down after 3 weeks. Well done on kicking the habit!

Your dream is telling you, youre being too hard on yourself about a situation you had no control over and being rock like figure within the family can sometimes crumbles under duress. It also indicates a health issue where real pain is experienced in your wakefullness. Your dreams are reminding you to take care of yourself more.

I think the word loss is the real indicator. Loss of a friend or family member. Mine started shortly after my father passed away so my dreams, were me in mourning. Nowadays ill interpret them as loosing my independence and growing old, retired..out to pasture so to speak

Sometimes it symbolises maturing from one situation to another not necessarily age related. Also in a woman's dream if she swallows the teeth it can symbolise fertility and pregnancy....did you swallow Miss DG lol

Wow MissDirtyGirl, v knowledgeable & im sure ppl are appreciating your input & the thread itself is very interesting.

Apart from last night, my 'bad' dreams is mostly about my ex. I have no feelings for him & my life is so much more fun, happy & im loving my independence to enjoy friendship & explore my sexuality however my dreams always seem to have us back together & me annoyed and disappointed in myself for allowing him back. When I awake I feel so relieved it was a bad dream but wonder why I dream of a bad thing when I know it was the best thing to do. We split mutually hating so it's not like I kicked him out or broke free.

The easiest way i can explain it is not only for you but for everybody is:

Your dreams are about the relationship you have with you. Even troubling dreams like you've explained, give you valuable information about how you can be more in balance right now, by connecting with a less conscious part of you.Dreams are most certainly about the present even if they appear to be from the past. You might have hated your ex at the end of the relationship, but your subconscious mind is repairing you from the broken relationship to make you "whole" again. Its dislodging the memories you made together to store them away. The anger and annoyance you feel in your dream are part of your emotional healing thats nearly fixed but not quite. Eventually the dream will fade to nothing, so dont dwell too much on it

"What about me exs parents at the same swingers party as me? That's fucked up, Right?

We didn't play together, that would just be weird, but we did say hello to each other, I was with someone too but not their daughter "

Will look into it. Interesting scenario lol what do you be thinking

"Wow MissDirtyGirl, v knowledgeable & im sure ppl are appreciating your input & the thread itself is very interesting.

"

great analogy

You should be out on the ocean in a rubber dingy by yourself!!

The party indicates loneliness even though youve loads of people around you, youve a strong desire to have someome special in your life.

The parents indicate you seek approval from your peers and co - workers, family and friends. You value their thoughts of you so much so, your mind is telling you to stop worrying about what other people think.

The girl youre with, is an extension of you, where you want to reach out and find more friends, form more bonds and create new relationships. Its an indicator that youre always willing to strengthen your circle of friends.

No idea about the party being a swingers party but i will say, nudity is an indicator that you feel exposed and vulnerable. If you are proud of your nudity in your dream, it means youre unrestricted in your attitude with freedom and have a carefree nature. Or it could mean youre drawing the wrong attention to yourself, you want to get noticed but are going about it the wrong way.

Again its about the relationship you have with you and how in tune you are with your subconscious mind
