Cos when men get angry testosterone rises, so been angry and lifting is too much, its not relaxing at all which you are supposed to do, can cause heart attacks and also you become short tempered as well, going for a walk listening to music is good, sex is good but not really what most want to do

A lesson learned with age and some guidance. In my younger days anger/depression caused the attack and fight your corner mode. Now it's go into that quiet place, earohones in workout/jog and don't drag anyone down with you. You're only ever battling yourself and that's a fight you can always win...I hope

Not an emotion that happens often for me. My first action is to figure out if I am angry at myself or actions of another. If myself, just learn a lesson and move on swiftly.

If my anger caused by actions of another person then it depends on my relationship with said person to decide if they are important enough to be taking up my headspace.

If they are someone important then calmly approach whatever subject needs dealing with to draw a line under it and move on with a clear air.

If perpetrator not important enough to take up my precious time, move on swiftly.

Running or gym also helps me use up that energy

The sea is very therapeutic, especially if you're out there on your own at its mercy....you leave everything behind and focus on its power. Love rock hopping along the Antrim coast. Keeps one fairly fit too. Just need to work out a carry system for the canoe on the motorbike other than towing it and I'd be smiling...

Both are two seater

I have had anger issues. I usually deal with them by talking and thought. Why was i angry. What was the trigger. What could I have done differently. I try to see the other perspective.

Because of childhood issues I have a strong protective impulse. If someone hits friends or family I don't react well or rationally to that. It has only happened 3 times in 25 years.

I rarely get angry... when I do its usually when injustice is done to someone who is not able to defend themselves. It's the injustice that makes me angry. I feel sorry for the perpetrator and for the recipient.... but sorry in two different ways hence the different response.

I might disagree with you there...its not a useless emotion...maybe it's a misused emotion and often one used as an excuse for bad behaviour....but it's a very useful emotion if people understood themselves better and channel that energy for good. Just my opinion.

I agree it is a mask for other emotions. ..usually pent up frustrations of things not dealt with or mishandled. It does also come from not understanding oneself very well. As an emotional it is neither right nor wrong...its how it's used and the action we choose to respond to the emotional anger that becomes right or wrong....that is where many confuse the difference between emotion and action.
