Hey guys,

Just wondering are there ladies out there who would intiate the conversation with a male, I.E. send the first message? I know the flirting/eye fluttering on the forums is one thing but actually sending the first message is what I'd be kind to see.

I suspect more often than not, it's the male who starts the ball rolling. I could be completely wrong here. So ladies do you initiate contact, never, rarely, regularly?

Lads have women contacted you first much?

Just curious if my perception is correct, that's all.

I've regularly made first contact with many people on here through the years. Usually I have all messages blocked and in that scenario if I don't send the first message then they don't have the opportunity to reciprocate. My best friends and contacts are mostly people who I initiated contact with

There are plenty of women on here who make first contact. In that way fab works on a far more equal footing than normal society. I'm not sure if I initiated any of the conversations I'm having at the moment. Where as the vast majority of my attempts at first contact end in rejection.

Considering this is a swing site making contact is part and parcel of the site. We ourselves would make contact with people in various ways available to us here ,either fabbing pics, winks or mail depending on whom we find interesting.

By sitting back and doing nothing would really defeat the purpose of being here .Just our view.

Enjoy fab for what it can be and try not to read into things too much.Life's too short

Rarely initiate contact on the site if ever I'm not that self confident and so rejection would be a real fear for me. I'm fine in an normal social situation just don't find texting to be a strong point of mine.

Being kinda shy, I tend to Fab pics or wink profile. Judging by forums though, most women ignore winks/pic or profile views, so I need to up my game, I guess.

A lot of the time I wink the No Smokers that I like, as I mostly vape now and am unsure of whether that's acceptable to them.

Overall, most first responders female are a result of forum I think.
