I used to be in an abba tribute band....didn't really work out. ...the punters weren't to keen on Waterloo being played on the bagpipes..

Dunboyne & Dublin

Movie wise it's Saturday Night Fever. Music wise, it's ABBA.

Don't tell anyone I commented or my old headbanger status is f**ked!

Dublin

Abba, easily. Even though the brothers Gibb were great songwriters, abba were just a cut above everyone else.

Songwriting masters.

I actually had a discussion about this with loncav at a meet & greet. Just listen to the lyrics of "the winner takes it all" here's a song written by a guy about divorcing his wife....and his wife has to sing his words about her.

Even if you claim not to like ABBA you actually do.

Abba, great melodies, great voices. Not a fan of the 'nuts in a vicegrip" style of singing.

Anybody who could have an international hit with a song about piri piri chicken is a bit special so it has to be ABBA.
